Yesterday these three beauties, just 3 days old, were dropped off in a cardboard box outside of the Banfield animal hospital in Latham. Luckily an alert vet tech at the front desk rushed out to grab them and alerted our volunteer at the adoption center inside PetSmart who got them into a bottle feeder's home but unfortunately one passed away late last night. So far the other two are latching on and eating but it just highlights how hard 2022 has been this year for rescues.
This kitten season has been by far one of the most chaotic in recent years. The number of calls and emails we receive averages between 50-75 a day with no end in sight. Every local rescue is facing very similar challenges with Distemper, dwindling adoptions as a hangover from Covid, and staggering amounts of kittens being born. It's very challenging right now. Kitten angels need fosters, supplies, or anything you can help with at this time.
If you can please purchase one of our items from our amazon wishlist, kmr, scales to weigh them, heating disks to keep them warm during transport, and flea treatments are the biggest needs sling with the miracle nipples that we have to outsource.

If you cannot get items from the wishlist, donations made to our paypal are tax deductible and go a long way in helping us purchase supplies as well.
We thank all of you for your continued support for our cause without you we wouldn’t be able to do this.
If you wish to foster please fill out the application in the link below.
